Having the author have these special offers is amazing everyone loves mercy-everybody knows what I bad ass vampire she is. I absolutelylove the book series. Love the Christmas ladder and I love the Valentine’s Day letter. I hope Theo the author has many more opportunities to do this for other holidays. The envelope that The letters come in are amazing. The seals that are put on them are beautiful and the paper really looks like genuine old parchment paper. Everything is so professionally done and authentic looking. It would be a perfect gift to give to anyone. Also is great to add to Your book collection series. Thank you, Theo.

Only at half of first book, but I like the characters and the second degree humor referencing other vampire stories (yeah, I don't use "breaking fourth wall" as it's stupid), characters are good, specific vampire lore is interesting, though having Jack the ripper as vampire is weird.

Merlins Mantle is an intriguing story of a family trying to protect their son but are amazed at his abilities. The story appeals to kids and adults.

I love the book. I bought the book that contains the first 3 books. I am about done the second and can’t put it down. I haven’t watched tv in days. Your writing is very enjoyable as I have laughed out loud several times. I love all the background you give on the various supernatural characters. I am interested in the audio version of the next books. I hope you have a narrator who I enjoy.

Wonderful. Lovely to have new characters, creatures and locations. But good to have Mercy around, even if not the main character. Makes you feel as if you know the background of the story, so you feel at home with the tale. Keep writing Theo. I know I have a few more to read, but good to know there will be more in the future. Keep developing Mercy and Hailey, they are what makes it all so enjoyable.

I love the characters in The Druid Legacy, the friendships, the love the magic! Especially Joni's story in the Wyrmrider Series. Not only does the author, Theophilus Monroe take us to the earth and the skies, but also to the depths of the ocean. Once you start reading, I dare you to put them down! These stories are not just for young adults, they are for every age. Mine is 78 with the heart and soul of a young adult with a little bit of magic.

Finally, the Druid Detective Agency has a lull in monster activity but instead of enjoying the peace and quiet, everyone is expecting the ‘boot to drop’ because they are in possession of the Holy Grail- which is like a beacon to the supernatural. Their anxiety becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy because in attempting to return the Grail to its realm, they unleash a sea of monsters that were trapped there (searching for the Grail) into our world. Once again, they are “run ragged” trying their best to rid our world of these invasive and deadly monsters. The phrase “sometimes we are our worst enemy” shines like beacon in this book. Nevertheless, the Druid Detective Agency always rises to the occasion whenever our world needs defending from any supernatural entities. It is a great book, and I highly recommend it.

UTTERLY UNBELIEVABLE. I would like to see the three-dimensional model that Theo must keep somewhere that manages to organize all of the various events on and through the space time continuum that this meta-series (The Eden Gate Saga) entails. Since this particular series brings us back once again to the Wadsworth family and Merlin, himself, considerations of the space-time continuum are mandatory. I just can’t see how Theo can manages to keep all of these details aligned correctly, And yet he does. I know this is the case, because I recently went back and reread the entire meta-series before coming back to this one. I had forgotten too much and I needed to catch up once again. Which also mean that it should go without saying, that it’s more than likely that I would be favorably inclined to the next book in the series, lol. And I am. I don’t know where it’s coming from, but thete is a level of absurdity to this series that for me harkens back to the 70’s TV spoof of James Bond, “Get Smart.” It’s an inanity written as an “overlay” concurrent with yet almost Independent of the primary storyline that Sideswipes one, catching you completely unaware. One moment you’re reading this very intense urban fantasy novel, and the next moment you find yourself giving an astounded guffaw at some antic or other. It’s surreal. It’s awesome.

An alternative beginning/ending for the Merlin of Camelot fame. With magic and time travel as accepted, this story puts Merlin in our time. His parents both possess magical abilities, as did his grandfather; but now Merlin must face obstacles to achieving his destiny. Take one magical opponent from history, add a lot more from our time, and then things get hectic in a hurry. Mr. Monroe has done his usual excellent job of tying together figures from fantasy, descriptions of magic, and the banality of our own reality. This is a great beginning to a series, one from which I'll be sure to read every word.

When you think Cupid, a cute round faced little angel comes to mind, right? Well....the Cupid Mercy and co are tracking couldn't be further from that image! Or further from benevolent...They had to be apprehended, ending them was a tad more complicated and it only got more complicated! To add insult to injury, there were FOUR Cupid's firing at will. These malevolent little puckers even managed to hit some of the team, with hilarious results! Mel and Muggs!??! Nah, ALL sorts of wrong there! Within the first ten minutes, I was seriously laughing at this display of... could I call it affection? Even Mercy didn't escape, an arrow landed soundly in her butt and the effects, well.... not the deluge of affection the others experienced, leaving her, ummm...dead inside, which she technically is but she still felt SOMETHING before the hit. And because she's badassed vampire numero uno, her logical mind takes over from her devoid emotions. When Juliet is similarly affected, time to bring in the big gun! Yes, Hailey to the rescue! I love that Hailey came to say "hi" in the book, an extra pleasant surprise was that Paulli came with! The most flamboyant, cocky, obnoxiously obscene foul mouthed sweetheart on the planet! That's one of the things I adore about Theo's books, he brings characters from previous series in and out when pertinent and trust me, Hailey, in this instance, is highly pertinent! I love the development in Mercy's and Juliet's romance, for a minute, I was ready to throw my Kindle against the wall in despair, Mercy had finally, FINALLY found happiness and the author janked that right out from under her! Yeah, I never know what the author will do next, I do know he WILL bring all the pieces together, somehow....But boy oh boy have the stakes increased! (Pun intended....) Oblivion is back and in a bad way, he now has Alice in his clutches and they are truly causing havoc. Because Oblivion wants oblivion and chaos and domination. Desperate times need desperate action, so Mercy concocts a plan, one involving Ladinas, very daring, very risky. I love how even when things look so hopeless, defeatist, there's always a plan, there's always hope that resonates. And that hope transferred into a beautiful HEA for a few, the rest? Well, they still had battles to win. This author writes such engaging and exciting tales. Wonderfully fast paced, incredible and extremely likeable characters, who have become a part of my world, an entertaining journey with witches, vampires, werewolves and magical creatures, spun throughout realms. One thing is certain, these books are always exciting, always different and always action filled. He takes the initiative to delve where few authors dare, he gets us to LIKE vampires, he gets us to CHEER the characters in, he world is filled with visionary delights, immerses us in a fictional world where the issues the characters face are oh so real. And it wouldn't be a Theophilus Monroe book without his impeccably timed humour, which always catching me out, always giving me a good chuckle. The many tricks he has up his sleeve takes one on a rollercoaster ride of pure undulated fun! Each and every time! Without fail!

He's done it again! Mr. Monroe has a way with words, sucking (pun intended) you into his vision of a magical world, where you'll spend an eternity (or two) with vampires, genies, and witches. There isn't another fantasy author in the business whose stories even come close. From dryads to werewolves, from banshees to doppelgangers, and from dragons to fauns, Mr. Monroe's depth and breadth of knowledge regarding folklore is exhaustive. Immerse yourself in his visions of magic and experience a bit of it for yourself.

When a pair of immortal dragons possess your body, it's probably difficult to remain in control. I wouldn't know, personally, but I'd rather not find out the hard way. Mercy Brown is a witch ... and the queen of vampires ... and a host for two dragon brothers; one good and one bad. She's a package deal - but not the kind you'd take home to meet your mother. She also has a 'pet' of sorts - a hellhound - and every time the hound kills, Mercy gets stronger. If you meet her, do yourself a favor, don't make her mad.

I'm really not into your earlier books due to language and sexual content. I started reading your books under Judah Lamb because of the Christian content I was looking for.

Of Faith and Fangs (Nightwalker #1)
Store owner replied: This particular book has none of that content. And I could not write books anymore like I used to.
I got this whole series. It was a fun series to listen to. There were quite a few times that the editing was weird. Sometimes would hear the same paragraph twice, things like that. While that was distracting, still very happy with the story.

I have to admit I read most of the series before warming up to the characters. However, this final(?) book produced the most wonderfully complex, comedic and confusing plot I've seen in a long time. The level of snark and dad jokes was perfect. Throughout the D.D.A. series, Theo has consistently thrown unexpected twists. This series now has me in the mood for some more feisty urban fantasy with Mercy Thompson or October Daye.

Ive only gotten as far as the first half of the first book. I'm a 73-yr old great grandmom who has been writing since I was 13 yrs old. Ive several book length stories and another three I'm working on but am too intimidated by the necessary steps for publishing. When I saw you had self-published and had advertised on Facebook, I ordered the set to support a fellow author. I'm intrigued with the premise that Merlin is being raised in the 21st century and that he is beginning to show prescience. I'm interested in seeing where the story goes from here.
